A Visit to Italy via the New Jersey Shore
Bella Terra ~ “Beautiful Earth”, is the stoneware ceramic company inspired by the beauty of Italy. Each piece of Bella Terra Pottery is individually hand crafted by me, the artist and owner, Jennifer Pellechio~Lukowiak.
My work is inspired by the regions of Italy that my family comes from, two of the most traditional and culturally rich areas of Italy, Naples in the coastal southwest and Gorizia in the rugged northeast. My great~grandparents proudly brought their passion for great food, fine wine, classic art and love of family to Newark , New Jersey’s North Ward. They imprinted the culture of Italy and the Italian lifestyle for generations past and present.
The stoneware clay and glazes I use are all lead free, microwavable, dishwasher and oven safe. It is art for everyday life.
